There are features in the beta gems, such as the migration schema dumper, that I could use today. For those that use them, what do you think? How ''safe'' are they for day to day use? I think edge rails is a bit to wild for me (and my customers) but I could live with beta gems if folks out there are fairly confident. Cheers, H

svn externals are really nice. Check out EdgeRails in the rails wiki for more information. With the impending 1.0 release, developing on edge is the way to go (IMHO of course).
