I''m a bit confused about how RedCloth converts paragraphs/line breaks. I notice the textilize() helper uses RedCloth with the :hard_breaks option. It seems that using RedCloth *without* the hard_breaks option converts double line breaks to paragraphs, but it doesn''t convert single-line breaks to <br />. Turning on :hard_breaks means single-line breaks *do* get converted to <br />, but double line breaks *don''t* get converted to paragraphs. I thought Textile was supposed to convert *both* single line breaks to <br /> and double line breaks to <p></p>, not one or the other. Does anybody have any idea whats going wrong here?
