Hi all -- I am a small cog with a design shop, trying to push for RoR (after my own, fairly recent, conversion). Our hosting partners have some resistance to Ruby/Rails, so far, out of concerns about security. Are there any resources -- of the persuasive & informative variety -- that I might be able to pass on? Personal anecdotes and experience are welcome, as well. (Is it a good idea to send links of other hosts that support Rails, or might that back-fire? etc.) Thanks again! -- Joshua
I think its a good idea to show them other providers are offering RoR in that it shows it has some acceptance. Especailly if you can find larger hosting providers using it. I frankly dont know anything about RoR security issues yet and would also be interested in finding out more information On 10/4/05, Joshua Wehner <joshua-AnsgPkSrJBbs2Lz0fTdYFQ@public.gmane.org> wrote:> > Hi all -- > > I am a small cog with a design shop, trying to push for RoR (after my > own, fairly recent, conversion).
