Rails - Oct 2005 - Logging not working

Hello,

I am using Rails 0.13.1, Ruby 1.8.3, Windows XP and cygwin. My rails
log files just contain the value "nil". A call to logger.info() has no
effect.

Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do to fix it?
