SCGI Rails - autostart?
Apologies if this has been asked and answered; I couldn''t find info on google or gmane. Does anyone have any solutions for running SCGI as a Windows service? I''ve got it up and running (nicely) on Windows Server 2003 with Apache2. But I can''t leave the server logged in, and I really can''t have a console window open. Is there a way to start it automatically? I''ve fooled around a little with srvany from the resource kit but haven''t gotten anywhere. Thanks! Brad
There''s an entry on the instiki wiki. You''d have to adapt it, but it covers the rough process. http://instiki.org/show/Running+as+a+Windows+Service Kyle Maxwell On 9/30/05, brad-sod+mMc99o6+XT7JhA+gdA@public.gmane.org <brad-sod+mMc99o6+XT7JhA+gdA@public.gmane.org> wrote:> Apologies if this has been asked and answered; I couldn''t find info on > google or gmane. > > Does anyone have any solutions for running SCGI as a Windows service? Thanks for the pointer - I think I was setting up the registry entry wrong.
