Rails - Sep 2005 - The state of Borges and Wee?

Can anyone speak to the state of Borges and Wee and any other
Seaside-inspired Ruby frameworks? Seems like Rails would benefit
greatly from some of their abstractions away from webbishness...

Not sure how a _web_ framework would benefit from having its
"webishness" abstracted away from it. :-/
