The view code in the "depot" example uses Ruby inclusions in HTML files. I''m curious what other variations folks are using. For example, it would be a fairly small jump to use Ruby inclusions in DocBook, (La)TeX, or even [GT]roff files. The first two of these interest me, because they offer a path toward the ability to generate both web pages and printable documents from a single (DRY :-) view. OTOH, there may be better approaches to consider.
