Rails - Sep 2005 - connecting to a remote machine

Hi,

I have a mail server, the configuration (the users, etc.) of it is in 
MySQL. I have another machine, the web server. I would like to write a RoR 
application running on the web server, that can manage the remote mail 
server''s database. Is it possible to use two independent MySQL
databases
with RoR/ActiveRecord? How?
