Hi Larry,
My app is fairly low traffic ... say around 400 views/day
We are using Webrick and performance is acceptable [5-10 views/second].
Stability is fine - no memory leaks to speak of.
HTH,
Neville

what sort of problems / bugs are you finding?
problems I know about are:
1) SQL Server Adapter does not honor the ''set_primary_key''
method of ActiveRecord::Base
2) SQL Server Adapter does not honor the :conditions directive
when processing with offset/limit [affects pagination]
otherwise the SQL Adapter seems to work ok for me [Windows 2003
deployment & XP development]

Thanks Joe,
But the setup did go as planned. I''m using windows as my dev
environment, which makes everything a lot easier.
( from a getting sql server to work point of view at least ) \
I''m running into problems / bugs when actually using sql server.
Regards, Mischa

Mischa,
I did a little howto sometime back. Its decent, but
things may have changed since then. Make sure you read through the
whole thing first, since someone noted unixODBC needs to be installed
first.
Its at
http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/show/HowtoConnectToMicrosoftSQLServerF
romRailsOnLinux
Hope that helps
