I''ve had several reports of people with problems using lighttpd 1.4.1
or 1.4.2 with my recently released SCGI Rails runner. I''ve been
testing these versions of lighttpd and I see the following problems:
1. When run with -D option, a CTRL-C will often times give a segfault. This is
linux for me, any others? It most often happens right after try an SCGI handled
request.
2. When lighttpd should be connecting to port 9999 for SCGI action, it does
nothing. If there were protocol errors or connection errors I would see those
in the packet trace, but I see nothing.
3. The error log shows continous connection attempts to port 9999, but the SCGI
process and the packet trace show nothing. It seems to *think* it''s
connecting but it really isn''t.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Anyone familiar with changes to
either the FCGI or SCGI modules in lighttpd? Version 1.3.15 works fine so
I''m inclined to blame lighttpd, but I''d like to get other
evidence before doing so.
