I replied to a message on the list about 12 hours ago, and haven''t seen my response yet. I have no experience of interpreting email headers, but here are some from your post, and they don''t look good: Received: from lists.rubyonrails.org ([70.84.143.100] helo=wrath.rubyonrails.com) by A.hopeless.aaisp.net.uk ([81.187.81.11]) with AAISP icebox mailer (build Jul 2 2005 12:44:42) for justin-zSfPWr5aQuznITO/+xaoB7VCufUGDwFn@public.gmane.org; Tue, 30 Aug 2005 18:02:53 +0100 Received: from wrath.rubyonrails.com (localhost.rubyonrails.org [127.0.0.1]) by wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8796139FAA; Tue, 30 Aug 2005 12:02:15 +0000 (GMT) Received: from smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net (smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net [209.86.89.61]) by wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB06639B19 for <rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org>; Mon, 29 Aug 2005 11:28:35 +0000 (GMT) regards Justin

I''ve missed *two* of my posts (one''s a re-post, sorry) and Jarkko Laine''s reply (I read it two days later in ASPN''s archives!). Vamsee.
I''m assuming that those not seeing their own posts have the appropriate setting turned on in their mailing list options? -Sean Justin Forder wrote:> Michael Schoen wrote: >> for some reason i''m not seeing my own posts to the list... > > Michael > > This is too bad to ignore! > > I replied to a message on the list about 12 hours ago, and haven''t > seen my response yet. > > I have no experience of interpreting email headers, but here are some > from your post, and they don''t look good: > > Received: > from lists.rubyonrails.org ([70.84.143.100] > helo=wrath.rubyonrails.com) by A.hopeless.aaisp.net.uk > ([81.187.81.11]) with AAISP icebox mailer (build Jul 2 2005 12:44:42) > for justin-zSfPWr5aQuznITO/+xaoB7VCufUGDwFn@public.gmane.org; Tue, 30 Aug 2005 18:02:53 +0100 > Received: > from wrath.rubyonrails.com (localhost.rubyonrails.org [127.0.0.1]) by > wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8796139FAA; Tue, 30 Aug > 2005 12:02:15 +0000 (GMT) > Received: > from smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net > (smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net [209.86.89.61]) by > wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB06639B19 for > <rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org>; Mon, 29 Aug 2005 11:28:35 +0000 (GMT) > > regards > > Justin > _______________________________________________ > Rails mailing list > Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org > lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails >
It has nothing to do with that. Read previous threads/messages and you will learn that the server the list was running on had a renegade process that delayed everything. It was fixed a while ago, and things seem to be back to normal again now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ /*Ronny Hanssen*/ Sean Stephens wrote:> I''m assuming that those not seeing their own posts have the appropriate > setting turned on in their mailing list options? > > -Sean > > Justin Forder wrote: > >> Michael Schoen wrote: >> >>> for some reason i''m not seeing my own posts to the list... >> >> >> Michael >> >> This is too bad to ignore! >> >> I replied to a message on the list about 12 hours ago, and haven''t >> seen my response yet. >> >> I have no experience of interpreting email headers, but here are some >> from your post, and they don''t look good: >> >> Received: >> from lists.rubyonrails.org ([70.84.143.100] >> helo=wrath.rubyonrails.com) by A.hopeless.aaisp.net.uk >> ([81.187.81.11]) with AAISP icebox mailer (build Jul 2 2005 12:44:42) >> for justin-zSfPWr5aQuznITO/+xaoB7VCufUGDwFn@public.gmane.org; Tue, 30 Aug 2005 18:02:53 +0100 >> Received: >> from wrath.rubyonrails.com (localhost.rubyonrails.org [127.0.0.1]) by >> wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 8796139FAA; Tue, 30 Aug >> 2005 12:02:15 +0000 (GMT) >> Received: >> from smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net >> (smtpauth01.mail.atl.earthlink.net [209.86.89.61]) by >> wrath.rubyonrails.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB06639B19 for >> <rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org>; Mon, 29 Aug 2005 11:28:35 +0000 (GMT) >> >> regards >> >> Justin >> _______________________________________________ >> Rails mailing list >> Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org >> lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails >> > _______________________________________________ > Rails mailing list > Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org > lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails >
