Hi, If anyone would like to check out the Rails site that I''ve been working on, check out: http://www.urbanex.ca:8080/ It will probably be going live in a week or so. Feel free to give any feedback. The calendar was the most difficult part for me. James
Hi James, Your website is nice and easy to nagivate. I think that is what a user would like. I went to the menu Main - services and for each services (e.g. networking) it shows a description when I click in any service. it seems that it refresh every time I do that. I would say you could add AJAX in there so a service is selected the description is shown without refreshing the page. You may try to Ajax in other places too, this would give it more interesting look. Hopes this help Emmanuel James Earl <james-DkjEhSRHeDJAFePFGvp55w@public.gmane.org> wrote: Hi, If anyone would like to check out the Rails site that I''ve been working on, check out: http://www.urbanex.ca:8080/ It will probably be going live in a week or so. Ajax on the calender at the top would be a very nice touch. -PJ On 6/30/05, Emmanuel Lopez <nel_lopez-/E1597aS9LQAvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote:> Hi James, > Your website is nice and easy to nagivate. Very attractive site, and pretty intuitive. Cheers.
Hi Emmanuel, Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, I can''t take credit for the site layout/design... I just built it. I agree, adding some ajax is a great idea. We''ll have to see if we''re able to sell the client on adding it in the future. James On Thu, 2005-06-30 at 12:49 -0700, Emmanuel Lopez wrote:> Hi James, > Your website is nice and easy to nagivate. Thank you! I''ll have to forward some of these comments onto the guy who designed the site. I''m sure he''d be pleased to hear this also.
