Thomas, Love the layout and colours... soft and warm... just like rails! :) Definitely bookmarking this one. Nice job! I like that neutrality dispute banner. James

Not quite the same traffic load as generated by a Slashdotting, but can still get pretty heavy... hope your server is up to it, although you seem to be coping great so far! :-) Incidentally, if you do have server stats available, I''d be really interested to see what kind of a peak in traffic Digg generates for you. Being that it''s Friday and around lunchtime in the USA (I think?) might be quite a lot of geeks passing through! I''ve got "reserves": load average: 0.00, 0.01, 0.00 ;) server stats to follow. Congratulations on the site. Is just what I was looking for: a place with examples and explanations on how to use prototype. BTW, I have found this site that has similar JS functionality that might interest you. http://www.openrico.org/demos.page?demo=ricoWeather.html Hope it helps, Adrian Madrid Thomas Fuchs wrote:> Hi, > > In an attempt to consolidate into one place all the scripts that > happened to come into existence over the last few months, I’ve > finally managed to come up with this site. I was going to use dragdrop.js to allow dragging from a list of documents to a target area (div). The target has the css rule position: fixed (under Firefox, and a hack for IE 6 to make position: absolute act like position: fixed). I also had a sortable list in the same target area (div). Unfortunately Draggable and Sortable only works when the page hasn''t been scrolled down. I tried taking the IE specifics hacks out of the css, but it didn''t fix the problems. I think this kind of functionality would be useful so it''s too bad. I''m not sure what causes this bug to occur. -- David Vincelli
