Hey all, I''ve recently posted on my blog (http://dema.ruby.com.br) a comparison between ASP.NET higher level abstraction model and Rails more direct approach to web programming. Although I prefer Rails approach, one of the things I wonder is if anybody is working on a alternative template engine for Rails that allows us to use a more component-based model for construction of the HTML templates, more like ASP.NET and JSP taglibs do. Are there any plans for that? rgds Dema http://dema.ruby.com.br/

I doubt that''s exactly what you''re looking for, but maybe it''s a step in that direction. -- rick http://techno-weenie.net
