All, Thanks to Sam Newman and Stew Mercer for pointing out a problem in the 1.0.6 version of the login generator. I believe the submitted gem was missing a change I had locally, so I apologize if anyone had undue trouble with this version. I''ve released version 1.0.7. The fix is one line if you do not wish to upgrade. Add the following to the top of your user class (generated model class for the account): attr_accessor :new_password Sorry for any trouble. Attached is the full patch. Just for clarification, should our user.rb file look like this: <snip> # this model expects a certain database layout and its based on the name/login pattern. class User < ActiveRecord::Base attr_accessor :new_password def initialize(attributes = nil) <snip> On 5/8/05, Joseph Hosteny <jhosteny-ee4meeAH724@public.gmane.org> wrote:> All, > > Thanks to Sam Newman and Stew Mercer for pointing out a problem in > the 1.0.6 version of the login generator.
