Hi all, I''ve just updated to 0.12.0 and one of my applications stopped working. I''ve found out the cause of it, and I think it''s a bug in Rails. In one of my actions, I construction a hash with integer keys, and arrays as values. However, by the time the hash makes its way to the view, the keys have been turned into strings, and so lookups with integer keys fail. Read below for how to reproduce it. Is this behaviour intentional, or is it considered a bug in Rails? If it''s the latter, I''ll post a ticket for it. Regards, Carl. - rails test - cd test - ./script/generate controller Test test - [14:06:40 carl@p15163506 /home/www/test]% cat app/controllers/test_controller.rb class TestController < ApplicationController def test @test = { 1 => "test" } end end - [14:07:06 carl@p15163506 /home/www/test]% cat app/views/test/test.rhtml <%= @test.inspect %> - Change database.yml to something sensible. - ./script/server - Point browser at port 3000, the output is : {"1"=>"test"}
