Description ----------- RForum is a web forum based on Ruby on Rails. It will be used to host http://www.ruby-forum.org/. I started development in October 2004 and was joined shortly after by Alexey Verkhovsky. It took a long time, but now we think it''s finally good enough for a first beta release. Features -------- - Support for MySQL, SQLite and PostgreSQL - Multi-language (German and English language files included) - UTF-8 support - Atom feeds - Email notification - Private user messages - Admin interface for managing forums, posts and topics Demo forum ---------- http://rforum-demo.andreas-s.net/ Installation ------------ Download: http://rubyforge.org/frs/download.php/3909/rforum-0.1.tar.gz Readme: http://rforum.andreas-s.net/rdoc/files/README.html Project website: http://rforum.andreas-s.net/ Planned features ---------------- - File attachments - NNTP frontend - Post/topic rating - Tagging
