Hey guys, I just logged in to my GMail account to find that there were more than 20 new messages in my inbox about Rails. Do you think it would be possible to have a small mailing list web interface, kind of like ruby-talk.org, so that people that do not like having their mailboxes loaded can still follow? It would be especially nice to have a post feature. Vincent. -- Vincent Foley-Bourgon Blog: http://www.livejournal.com/~gnuvince [ 6 * 9 = 42 ] whileTrue: [ World run ]

I''ve set up a filter for this mailing list (as I do for all the mailing lists that I''m subscribed to) that applies a label ("rails") to all mails I receive at the "rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org" address; I could additionally set up that filter to automatically archive those mails so that they don''t show up in my Inbox. It seems like this would get you most or all of the way towards what you''re asking for...
Or we could use GMane to create a newsgroup <-> mail gateway. :) http://gmane.org/ Wayne On Wed, 26 Jan 2005 13:44:28 -0600, Lyle Johnson <lyle.johnson-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote:> On Wed, 26 Jan 2005 14:19:35 -0500, Vincent Foley <vfoley-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote: > > > I just logged in to my GMail account to find that there were more than > > 20 new messages in my inbox about Rails.
