I was wooed here by this demo page for the script.aculo.us slider control: http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/SliderDemo ... but I''m looking for a slider control well adapted for use in a touch-screen kiosk application (an unusual place to put a web application, perhaps, but bear with me...) I''ve posted an example (screencast and downloadable program) here: http://kylecordes.com/2006/03/14/slider-control-for-touch-screen-applications/ I''d much appreciate if a neighborhood script.aculo.us / JavaScript / DHTML / DOM expert could render an opinion on whether a control like this can be done in a browser -- Kyle Cordes http://kylecordes.com
I''m trying to get images rotating in a box that holds two of them side by side. I use an effect like squish to remove the left image, then the right image slides over and takes its place. Then I want to make another image appear where the empty space is on the right. How can I do this without creating a bunch of img tags waiting to be pulled? Thanks for your time Daniel
Just change the src of the left image after it disappears to the new
image''s
url, then move it over.

Yes, but how do I move it over there. It''s always going to reappear
where it
was and that will push the other image back.
Thanks
