Hello, I can?t seem to be able to install packages on a redhat-linux-gnu. For instance, this is what happens when I try to install ?bitops?. Hi Lars, A mystery, but for the bodgy characters in your error message. Perhaps there is a problem with R trying to read a different character set from that used in the package.
