Dear R users, I installed R 1.4.0 on MacOSX 10.1 with fink (I run it through XFree on command-line). I have two short questions regarding R on MacOSX. (1) The default help browser is netscape. I do not have Netscape; instead I have internet explorer. If I type help.start(browser="Internet Explorer"), it does not work because of the spaces, and maybe because the path to Internet Explorer directory is not defined. Is there an easy answer to this problem ? On the other and, I run my programs through XFree, and I am not sure that it is possible to run Netscape or Internet Explorer from XFree. (2) If I want to plot graphics, I have to run R from Xfree (XDarwin); I cannot run it from the MacOSX Xterm. Is that right ? Could you please send the answers at "marco.saerens at smals-mvm.be". Thank you very much in advance !
