Hello R users, Can someone point me to a solution to the problem below? The surf.ls() call works fine in other contexts, e.g. the example in help(surf.ls). I'm using R 1.3.1, and get the same error regardless of the platform (debian Linux, MS Windows 98). Surely if a function does not work the first thing to do is to chexk that you are calling it correctly. Arguments: np: degree of polynomial surface x: x coordinates or a data frame with columns `x', `y', `z' Your object midxy (presumably a data frame) is not of the specified form. However, surf.ls(2, midxy$V1, midxy$V2, midxy$X3) works. Calling it topo.kr (not on dataset topo) is bound to lead to confusion.> call works fine in other contexts, e.g. the example in help(surf.ls).
