Dear R people: I need to estimates some confidence intervals for one proportion. Reference for binom.test in ctest package, I suspect is so old and perhaps now there are better methods. Wrong or not? Please, I need your advise. See the docs: Confidence intervals are obtained by a procedure first given in Clopper and Pearson (1934). This guarantees that the confidence level is at least \code{conf.level}, but in general does not give the shortest-length confidence intervals. -k -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
