Hi, I have tried to install.packages("RODBC"), but it balks: Installing source package `RODBC'' ... creating cache ./config.cache checking for library containing SQLTables... no configure: error: no ODBC driver manager found ERROR: Configuration failed for package `RODBC'' What am I missing? What and where should "SQLTables" be? In another package? What should I tell my administrators to make an ODBC driver manager available to me? --christian Dr.sc.math.Christian W. It is probably easier to compile too. It might be worthwhile adding simple examples for ~/.odbc.ini for both of these libraries. I''d be happy to contribute one for iODBC. -- According to the latest figures, 43% of all signatures are totally worthless. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
