Hi
I'm using gss and when I use predict it gives me an error that I
don't
understand.
This is the message:
Error in env$fun(x, env$env) : gss error in phi: inputs are out of range
Can someone tell me what it means ?
Thanks
EJ

You are extrapolating too far. The gss default goes beyond the data
range by 5% on each side. If you would like to predict beyond that,
overwrite the default (read the documentation), but be warned that
what you get is not reliable. The standard error will be pretty big
so your confidence interval will likely cover everything.
