Hi,
I just installed the odesolve package and ran the check command on it. It
failed trying to execute
library(gnlm).
Sure enough, there is no gnlm library on my system and I could not find it
on the CRAN archive either. Am I missing anything obvious or is gnlm some
private library that somehow found its way into the example section of
odesolve?
Thanks in advance,
Andy

[Unfortunately, the most recent versions of Jim's packages do not all install smoothly with R 1.2.3.] The next version of odesolve will also feature an example from nlme, which is easily accessible via CRAN and will be a `recommended' package for R 1.3.0. Along with that, it also makes sense to conditionalize the example. -k -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) I sent the maintainer of odesolve some corrections and an example of fitting nonlinear models using my gnlm library. The latter should not have made its way into the library on CRAN. I have just uploaded to CRAN a revision of odesolve in which the regression
example runs only if gnlm is installed. Please accept my apologies for the
difficulties. The next version will include the nlme example.
