R help - Mar 2001 - loading data

I have a text file and want to load this data into a matrix (it is two columns
consisting of 120 rows each).

How do I do this?

See the shipped manuals, `An Introduction to R' or `R Data
Import/Export'.
Exactly how depends on what separates the two columns, but you will
almost certainly need function read.table,
