R help - Jul 2000 - NetCDF data?

Does anyone know of a module for R to access NetCDF datasets?  I remember
reading about a module for Splus, but I can't seem to find anything on CRAN.

I have a module that will read netCDF datasets.  It doesn't write them
yet, and it doesn't use configure to find where libnetcdf is on your
installation, so it may need some hand-configuration.

I'll send to you and to the contrib/devel area on CRAN.
