I tried to save a graphic in a file in the Postscript format but it didn't work (command: postscript(file="blabla",..). Does anybody know how to do that. marco ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) To print a copy of what is on the screen use dev.print() -thomas Thomas Lumley Assistant Professor, Biostatistics University of Washington, Seattle -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !) The function dev.copy2eps copies the current plot to a postscript file in version 1.1.0. postscript starts a PostScript device: it does not save the current plot. -- Brian D. What exact did you do there? I tried it in my RforWindows98 1.1.0 and it works perfectly fine. Please specify the exact command you typed, and under which OS you are using R and which version of R.
