Hi, I was wondering whether there are interfaces to netCDF, HDF4, or HDF5 for "R". you> I was wondering whether there are interfaces to netCDF, HDF4, you> or HDF5 for "R". There is an HDF5 interface. It supports many, but not all R types. It can't be used to take a snapshot of the system, for example. Dataframes are stored as HDF5 compound types, lists of lists are stored as groups, vectors are datasets, etc.. The error handling is bad, but if you (learn to) avoid the rough edges it is usable. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
