R help - Nov 1999 - Display Pictures in R

Hi,

how can I import pictures in R (e.g. bmp or tiff) and display them in an X11?

If you want to display a picture, use a viewer/image manipulating program,
xv, gimp,...

...or do you want to make stat. analyses on with your pictures? For
example write some code to find pattern in your pictures like letters?
