Help! I've done this before but can't remember how to do it, and can't find any reference to it in the docs I have access to now. I need to increase --vsize (I think), as I'm getting a message when I start my R session "vector heap too small to load data". How does one exactly do this, and what is the default setting? I don't know how much to increase it by. I know I read this somewhere.... This is very irritating! I'll appreciate any help! I also want to increase memory size in R, version 0.90.1 on Windows NT 4.0. My R icon is on my Office toolbar so I right-click it, select Properties and alter the target. Then I get an error box saying: "The name "F:\Program Files\rw0901\bin\Rgui.exe --vsize 20M --nsize 2M" specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and filename are correct." OK, what next?
