This message is to let the R community and current users of Rweb (a Web based access to R) know that a new version of Rweb is available at: http://www.math.montana.edu/Rweb and the source code may be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.math.montana.edu/pub/umsfjban/RwebCurrentRelease.tar.gz New features in Rweb1.03 include: For people that just want to use Rweb: 1. The ability to upload data files from the users machine (thanks to a suggestion from Luke Tierney). 2. Improved graphics printing in the Javascript version. For people that want to setup their own Rweb server: 1. Improved security. 2. Postscript is converted to gif format using the netPBM library rather than the latex2html scripts (thanks to a comment from Mark Ray) 3. A configure and install script that can (hopefully) setup the configuration for your machine and then install all of the parts into the appropriate places. Anyone that is interested in setting up their own Rweb server may look at the Rweb Readme file at: http://www.math.montana.edu/Rweb/Readme.text -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
