Before I start trying to write something myself, are there functions for response surface analysis available in R or in a freely-available S library? I would like to be able to specify a formula, automatically generate the full quadratic model, and do a canonical analysis of the quadratic terms as in Box, Hunter, and Hunter (1978), "Statistics for Experimenters", Wiley. I looked in the index of Venables and Ripley (1997) and did not see any mention of "response surface". -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
