Hello, all. I'm trying to get R working on linux-PPC (linux on a Macintosh, or, in my case, a Power Computing clone). I'm using version 0.62.4, and I'm getting the following errors during compile in arithmetic.c: 44: warning: struct exception declared inside parameter list 45: conflicting types for matherr 46: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type 55: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type and then the "make" stops. I haven't looked at arithmetic.c yet; I'm pretty new at this. I also had the following messages from configure: checking for main in -ldxml ...no checking for main in -lblas ...no checking for vfork.h ...no (but then it says there is a working vfork) checking for dl.h ...no checking for ieefp.h ...no checking for ieee754.h ...no checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet ...no checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet_stub ... no I can certainly imagine that missing some of these things might cause the errors in compilation (although I'm not sure how). If anyone can tell me what sorts of packages I might be missing and where I should look for them, or what changes to make to the code so I can compile, I'd appreciate it.
