There is nothing here to reproduce the claimed bug.
NA_REAL is a reference to a constant in the R.dll, and is unchanged for
a long time.
Since R still works, the problem is not occurring for those who compile R
and its packages under the recommended compiler and tools.
I note you use `cygwin and gcc'. The documentation has said for a long
time that compilation with Cygwin is not supported.
