Hi, i wanted to get started with Puppet on SuSE's SLES11 SP3 using puppet 3.6.2 from Suse Build Service. So i started with my config and told me that file based environments are deprecated (Puppet 4...) So now that's how my puppet.conf looks like: [main] environmentpath = /etc/puppet/environments #default_manifest = /etc/puppet/environments/$environment/manifests #default_manifest = $confdir/manifests basemodulepath = $confdir/modules As you can see, i also tried around with the default_manifest option. So what now happens if i start the puppet-master, it generates the directory /etc/puppet/manifests - and that's what he uses.... # puppet agent -t --noop --environment production works, but this is where it's manifest is: # puppet config print manifest --environment production /etc/puppet/manifests/site.pp Any other environment just produces a massiv error... Is there any other option i need to specify when i want to use directory based environments? Relating to the Puppet-Docs it's just that easy.... Thanks a lot & best Regards - Nold -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
