Puppet users - Aug 2014 - is it possible to run agent with negated tag?

is it possible to run agent with negated tag?
for example
puppet agent --verbose --no-daemonize  --runinterval=30  --tags !negated_tag
of course above is not working

i want to simply compile and run puppet catalog without specific 
negated_tag tagged resources
