Puppet users - Aug 2014 - remote command execution from puppet dashboard ?

Hello,

I am completely new to puppet. So, my apology if this is a silly question.

I am interested in using puppet as a remote command execution tool. Execute 
a *nix command or a script from puppet dashboard (on multiple selected list 
of servers).
And capture the real-time output of the command and display on dashboard.

I will really appreciate if anyone can point me to a document that explains 
the steps to achieve this from dashboard ?
