Hi, I''ve just built rpm''s for puppet-0.23.1 - since there were a few people who had trouble with the update for 0.23.0 (the change in config files requires a bit of rpm trickery), I decided to be a little more cautious in how I push the new packages. So far, new packages are (or, will be shortly) available in rawhide, Fedora 7 updates-testing, and in my yum repos for RHEL4/RHEL5 [1] Please give them a spin, especially when updating from older versions of puppet - in my testing, updates worked fine. If you use these rpm''s, please let me know of successful or problematic updates (and what version you were updating from) David [1] http://people.redhat.com/dlutter/yum

I jwas just hoping to get some feedback on the RPM''s before pushing updates to EPEL. If I don''t get any bug reports, I''ll push the packages to EPEL (and the other main Fedora releases) tomorrow. Although I don''t think any of them are really serious, I''m hesitant to call this stable until I get them fixed. -- It is odd, but on the infrequent occasions when I have been called upon in a formal place to play the bongo drums, the introducer never seems to find it necessary to mention that I also do theoretical physics. -- Richard Feynman --------------------------------------------------------------------- Luke Kanies | http://reductivelabs.com | http://madstop.com
