Puppet users - Sep 2006 - An option to test what will be done by the puppet client?

Hi,

I can''t find an option of the puppetd client that can just print what
the puppetd client will do on my system (updateing files, installing
softwares, etc), but without doing all the things (like a "diff"
between the current state of my system and the state defined on the
puppet server).

Is such option exists ?

Add --noop when you call the client.

I''m hoping to add a more contextual "diff" option, but noop
gets you the
information.

It''s a system-wide option, so like all of the other system-wide options
it''s only mentioned in the configuration reference[1], not the output
of
--help.
