http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229 Summary: openssh 3.1p1 configure script aborts at "checking for OpenSSL directory" under Solaris 8 Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: -current Platform: Sparc OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P1 Component: Build system AssignedTo: openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org ReportedBy: brigham.seaver at tc.faa.gov Error: "configure; error: Could not find working OpenSSL library, please install or check config.log." openssl 0.9.6.c is properly installed under /usr/local/ssl. The script for openssh 2.1.1p3 and subsequent installation completes successfully without errors.
