RE: Radar track data
If you explain what radar track data is (for those like me who don't know) and what your needs are more specifically a number of people would probably offer pointers to R packages etc. Reid Huntsinger -----Original Message----- From: Scott_Summerill_Summerill/ACT/CNTR/FAA.FAA at faa.gov [mailto:Scott_Summerill_Summerill/ACT/CNTR/FAA.FAA at faa.gov] Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2002 3:22 PM To:

OpenSSH and Solaris with 0.9.6x openssl
Hello, I have tried to install openssh 2.9p2 on Solaris 2.6 and Solaris 2.8 after compiling the openssl (both 0.9.6a and 0.9.6b) and openssh software with both gcc 2.95.3, Sun's Forte compiler, Sun's linker, etc. I have tried the zlib from Sun freeware and version 11.8.0 REV=2000.01.08.18.12 contained in the SUNWzlib package. Both openssh and openssl appear to make properly and all the

More on the archive bit saga
Thanks to all that have helped so far. I now have a test server running on Ubuntu 6.06 and Samba 3.0.22. I also configured ACL and user_xattr on the filesystem running the shares. But now I have very strange behavior that I hope someone has a clue about. User smith can open two files (foo.txt and faa.txt) with Notepad, Wordpad and Microsoft Word. The behavior for all three is different:

Does anyone know of an R-function that will generate an observation from a truncated normal (left or right) with a mu and sigma2? Any correspondence would be greatly appreciated. Can't get 3.1p1 to compile under Solaris 8
OK, I feel like an idiot, but I can't get 3.1p1 to compile under Solaris 8. Older versions I've gotten set up, but can't with this latest one. I have followed both the general directions and the directions in contrib/solaris, and neither one works. Since I have Solaris, here's the output from the directions in contrib/solaris... ./configure --with-pam

3.1p1 + OpenSSL 0.9.5a -> no can do
What should I do in order to be able to compile OpenSSH 3.1p1 with OpenSSL 0.9.5a? I get a lot of EVP related compile errors in cipher.c, appended. Thanks. Help with OpenSSL config for Sol7 SUN4U
I need some help with .Configure for OpenSSL. I compiled versions for all Solaris (2.5, 2.6, 2.8) platforms, but I am having problems with the SUN sparc Ultra-60 (220-r) running Solaris 7 SUN4U configuration. I am trying to configure OpenSSL 0.9.6.C and have GCC version 2.95.3 for Solaris 7. When executing ./config , I received the following errors: Operating system: sun4u-whatever-solaris2

OpenSSH-3.1p1 Solaris build with /dev/random
has anyone had a problem building 3.1p1 with Solaris 8 (2/02 release)? That release of Solaris was the first (I believe) to incorporate their own /dev/random which OpenSSH 3.1 doesn't seem to like too much. When I run the configure, it reports that Random Number Source is set to use the rand-helper. If I use the ANDIrand Solaris package as my /dev/random, It configures properly (Random

Solaris 2.6 needs '#define HAVE_BOGUS_SYS_QUEUE_H 1' to build OpenSSH 3.1p1
I needed to manually add a '#define HAVE_BOGUS_SYS_QUEUE_H 1' to the config.h file to get OpenSSH 3.1p1 to properly build under Solaris 2.6. Without it, the system <sys/queue.h> is included rather than using the openbsd-compat/fake-queue.h and the various TAILQ_* macros are not defined. I suspect that the configure.ac file needs to be updated to add the lines: if test

scp 3.1p1 problem on Solaris
I have removed ANDIrand from my Solaris8 system and installed patch 112438-01 which provides native /dev/random and /dev/urandom devices. Recompiled both openssl-0.9.6c and openssh-3.1p1, restarted sshd. Now I seem unable to use scp, and connections to the local sshd appear to be very slow. $ scp php-4.2.0.tar.gz user at remote:/WWWserv/src local at bastion's password: php-4.2.0.tar.gz

compile bug for 3.1p1 under Solaris
Hi, There seems to be a bug in the 3.1p1 code compiling under Solaris. The error is below. I saw that someone was having the same problem under linux and that they had already reported the bug but I just wanted to make _sure_ it was reported. BTW, I'm running Solaris 2.7, openssl 0.9.6a, and zlib 1.1.3. Thanks. -C. cipher.c: In function `cipher_init': cipher.c:200: void value

Cannot run OpenSSH 3.1p1 on Solaris 8, Irix 6.5.14, Irix 6.5.4, SunOS 4.1.3_U1 - ssh-rand-helper child produced insufficient data
I have successfully compiled OpenSSH 3.1p1 for the following systems: Solaris 8 Solaris 7 Irix 6.5.14 Irix 6.5.4 SunOS 4.1.3_U1 Unfortunately, the new sshd is not working on any of the above systems with the exception of Solaris 7. (I then put the Solaris 7 executables on Solaris 8, and they worked there too.) This is the error I'm getting: $ /usr/etc/sshd -D -d -d -d debug3: Seeing PRNG

Using openssh 3.1p1 on Solaris with tcp wrappers?
Dear OpenSSH Developers, Thanks for all the great work on this important tool. We've built version 3.1p1 on SAPTC platforms under Solaris 2.8 using gcc 2.95.2. Several quick notes and a question: 1) There are several discrepancies between the INSTALL file on the openssh web site ftp://ftp.ca.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/INSTALL and the output from "./configure

openssh-3.1p1, buildpkg.sh on Solaris 8
Hello. First I would like to thank you for making building the OpenSSH package so easy on Solaris 8. I wish it was so easy with all open source software. For your information, I just build and packaged OpenSSH-3.1p1 on my Ultra 5 workstation with the following packages: system SUNWadmr System & Network Administration Root system SUNWarc Archive Libraries system
