openssh unix dev - Dec 2001 - CVS server not responding

Hi,

the anonymous CVS server for portable OpenSSH does not want to talk to
me:
> % cvs upd -Pd
> cvs [update aborted]: connect to bass.directhit.com:2401 failed: Connection
refused
Looking at http://www.openssh.com/portable.html, 
":pserver:cvs at bass.directhit.com:/cvs" is still the recommended
repository.

Is this a known problem?

For what it is worth, I have had the same problem for the last few days.

So, I have been forced to fetch the daily snapshot rather than doing
an update of my local cvs checked-out tree.

http://bass.directhit.com/openssh_snap/openssh-SNAP-`date +%Y%m%d`.tar.gz

I hope that whatever the problem is on the bass.directhit.com AnonCVS
server gets fixed son.
