openssh-2.3.0p1 fails to transport rsync
Hi,
I had previously noticed some peculiar log entries of the form error:
error: channel 0: internal error: we do not read, but chan_read_failed for
istate 8
in my logs. They were harmless as far as I was concerned. I checked the
list archives, where the same logs have been reported and no solution was
presented.
Recently I tried to use rsync over ssh for backup purposes. The remote

ssh-keygen -K option
Hi there,
I'm in the process of generating a moduli file under Linux
with 5.9p1 version which in fact takes quite some time for
the big primes to be tested.
So I've checked both portable and current source code but am unable to
find the -K option wich is documented in the man page of OpenBSD site.
This option is supposed to add a checkpoint file when screening the
candidates

Call for testing: OpenSSH 6.7
Must have bolluxed something up in the compile environment - that or
http://www.mindrot.org/openssh_snap/openssh-SNAP-20140828.tar.gz had a
configure tweak that fixed it. All systems tested now build and pass all
tests.
That said - the stupid race condition in that one test is cropping up
sporadically still - I think it's related to the load (or lack thereof) on
the VM host.
With, of course, th...

Starting tonight I plan on tracking changes very closely with the OpenBSD
tree. I need people to test the latest snapshot (9/14 at of right now)
and report success or failure on compiling.
I am starting this now because we are looking at a code freeze soon and I
really want to ensure it compile...
