[Bug 889] Under Solaris 9, X11 port forwarding causes X11 protocol errors
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=889 Summary: Under Solaris 9, X11 port forwarding causes X11 protocol errors Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: 3.8p1 Platform: UltraSparc OS/Version: SunOS Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: ssh AssignedTo: openssh-bugs at mindrot.org ReportedBy: bfriesen at simple.dallas.tx.us When using X11 port forwarding, X11 protocol errors are encountered for operations on the X11 clipboard. In particular, xemacs hangs with an X11 protocol error related to the clipboard if CONTROL-K is used to delete a line. I assume that there is some corruption in the X11 data stream. Reverting to 3.7.1p2 (previous working version for me) seems to avoid the problem. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

[Bug 889] Under Solaris 9, X11 port forwarding causes X11 protocol errors
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=889 ------- Additional Comments From bfriesen at simple.dallas.tx.us 2004-07-03 07:08 ------- Additional information regarding the build: Software versions Solaris 9 GCC 3.4.0 OpenSSL 0.9.7d Configured with options: --with-cflags=-O3 '--with-ldflags=-L/usr/local/lib -R/usr/local/lib' --with-pid-dir=/var/run --sysconfdir=/etc/ssh Problems are clearly due to the ssh client program since they also occur when using ssh to a Gentoo Linux system with an sshd (version 3.8p1) which has been working fine for several months. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
