When I try to virt-install a PV instance of F11, I''m getting an ''invalid kernel'' message, as if it''s not a Xen kernel. I have tried both the i386 and x86_64 versions. Is there any weirdness with this distro that I''m not aware of?

Fajar, Does Nevada build 123 (xVM3.3.2) support pv_ops kernels for DomUs installs ? --- On Sat, 10/3/09, Fajar A. Nugraha <fajar@fajar.net> wrote: From: Fajar A. Hi ! Yes build 123 does: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/xen/docs/guest-compatibility/ I tested various Linux distributions (including Fedora 11) on build 123. They all worked well using PV. Make sure you''re running the latest build (b124) regards john
However, publicly available is 123 in meantime. Customers are complaining build 123 at xen-discuss. --- On Sat, 10/3/09, John Levon <john.levon@sun.com> wrote: From: John Levon <john.levon@sun.com> Subject: Re: [xen-discuss] Fedora 11 DomU To: "Fajar A. I''m not sure precisely which build fixed all the F11 problems (it was probably b121), but I always recommend the latest build :) regards john
