Nut upsuser - Feb 2020 - Problem with APC SMC1500I-2UC & Synology DS1819+

I'm having an issue with my ups that is connected too my NAS via usb its
reporting the battery as 99% OL CHARG when the ups is at full charge 100% ONLINE
does anyone have any tips its driving me crazy

OK.  Where and from wnat are you seeing "99% OL CHARG" and where and
from what are you seeing "100% ONLINE"?

If different software tools are giving you different answers, that's a
puzzle needing further investigation.  If the front panel is showing
100% ONLINE but actual reported status is consistently 99% OL CHARG,
that may be an indication that your batteries are failing and need to be
replaced.

This APC unit is not specifically mentioned in NUT's list of supported APC 
models at https://networkupstools.org/ddl/APC/index.html

Could you submit the output of upsc <ups>, upsrw <ups> and upscmd -l
<ups> to
this list for inclusion in the NUT documentation ?

As far as the 99% vs 100% values are concerned, it is possible that there is a 
slight mismatch in usbhid-ups between the highest charge reported by the UPS and
the value used in the driver for 100%, but this will need confirmation by a 
usbhid-ups specialist.

You will need to run the commands on the Synology NAS. I assume you can log into
the NAS from the server it's attached to.  You can then use this server to
send
the results to the list.
