Hello *,
I have my "24V DC modular ATX PSU" running yet and it collect
already
the data form the DS1780 and MAX1036/8. The Microcontroller is a Maxim
Integrated Device DS89C450 and the USB-Controller a MAX3420E which works
over SPI Bit-Banging.
OK, this is now working and enumeration is done... ;-)
Now since the PSU is a "Function" I was looking into the Linux
Gadget
driver how HID is done and if I plug in my PSU, I see Linux is
registering my Device/Function.
Now I have to code the the USBHID-PDU stuff but I have nothing found on
the Net HOW TO CODE A "Function" but the Host-Part...
I have tried to modify the USBHID-INPUT (keyboard) code but it seems not
to work... Also I have tried to use the "Appendix E" from the
"Device
Class Definition for HID" version 1.1 and modify it to my needs. Also I
am currently rereading the "Usage Tables for HID Power Devices" v1.0.
So can anyone tell me how the USBHID-PDU data comes into the Host?
I can analyse it and maybe I get this stuff running since I like to go
in production before May 2009. (I need urgently money)
And yes, the USBHID-PDU part is the last thing missing in the project.
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
