I'm working on a fix for this, it's an old problem. Will post a patch
later today.
It will also make some error messages more specific.

Reworks errorreporting
Try this patch, it should report more correct reasons for failed commands.

I attached a patch to this entry yesterday but it appears that no mail was
generated about that fact... Anyway, there's a patch to try out, it should
fix
the weird error reports.
